"Together We Serve"

The ORFHC is seeking persons interested in serving as volunteers or missionaries at the center. The center has 16 different shifts per week, with each shift covering a five hour period of time. Many staff members serve only one shift per week and others serve on several shifts. Four of the 16 shifts are evening shifts starting at five PM and going until nine PM. The remaining 12 shifts are morning and afternoon shifts.

Staff members are trained during each shift and we feel that one of the very best ways to learn how to become an effective researcher is to serve at the center. The center is always in need of more staff to serve and assist patrons. Beginning staff members, also learn from senior staff members, as well as from the practice they get doing research during their shift. ORFHC staff members are asked to bring their own PAF backup file to the center during their shift(s). When they are not in training or assisting a patron, they are encouraged to work on their own family lines.
